Responsibilities

This is the senior level job. Technical expert, leading developing and maintaining engineering application software for use in Oil/Gas industry. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements automation scripts. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Leads the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Assigns tasks and reviews the work of more junior personnel.

 

Plans and executes Automation Strategy. Experience in building Automation Framework, writing automated scripts and generating reports with checkpoints. Provides technical and operational support for software testing. Provides technical and team leadership for software QA initiatives and processes Develops methods, practices, and techniques to improve the software QA process. Assists with administration of system configuration and work management systems. Other responsibilities include writing release notes and introducing new features and enhancements to training instructors and technical writers, providing technical and operational support. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must have Software Engineering degree
  • Ability to effectively design and execute software test plans / test cases
  • Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)
  • Strong knowledge of computer programming logic and Operating Systems such as Windows 10 and Windows Server
  • Advanced expertise with software troubleshooting
  • Good verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to exhibit sound judgment with a logical thought process
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, within provided list of prioities

Minimum Experience

  • 3+ years’ combined experience in Automation and Manual test case writing/execution
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
  • 2+ years’ experience Selenium
  • 3+ years’ experience in writing Software Development Requirements and test-related documentation such as Test Plan, Test Strategy and Test Reports
  • 3+ years’ experience with SDLC methodologies, such as Agile Scrum

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years’ combined experience in Automation and Manual test case writing/execution
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
  • 2+ years’ experience Selenium
